Fun Things to do With Your Followers
Interacting with your followers is a great way to boost your sales and come up with some new ideas for designs! Below are some examples of things you can do with your followers and some examples of how other artists used these ideas.
Giveaway:
You can definitely do a giveaway! It’s a contest where your followers enter for a chance to win one of your designs on a TeePublic product. For context, this is how artists we've worked with have done giveaways in the past:
Artists have asked submitters to comment on the giveaway post (with a specific emoji, for example!), looked at how many comments the post got, and used Google's Random Number Generator to randomly select a number. Then, they would countdown to the number and select the winner.
In addition to the generator above, I know Instagram giveaways are very popular right, and a lot of software programs exist to randomly choose a winner, so you can also check out this article on the 5 best resources to select a winner! Specifically, I've heard that Instagram Comment Picker is a great resource.
The winner can choose any one of your designs on any of our products! Once the winner has been selected, you can send them one of your designs! The fulfillment centers offer shipping to the following countries.
Draw This in Your Style Challenge:
This is a really fun way for your followers to interact with you and your art. It works like this: you create a really simple black and white outline drawing and post it on your story. Ask your followers to take a screenshot and draw on it any way they want. Then have them submit them to you and you can do a finalized design based on your favorite follower submitted design.
You can send the person who gave you the chosen design a free t-shirt with the design. Then if all goes well, that person could send you a pic of them wearing their new shirt and you have another really great user generated content post which will ideally drive more traffic to your TeePublic storefront. Follower Inspired Design Prompt:
This is a great way to interact with your followers especially if you have a really engaged following.
You make a post on social media asking your followers to submit ideas they would like to see you draw, pick one that inspires you and then upload that design to your TeePublic store front. You can send the person who gave you the prompt a free t-shirt with the design. Then ask that person to send you a pic of them wearing their new shirt and you have another really great user generated content post about the winning design. This will hopefully drive more traffic to your TeePublic storefront. Let me know what you think!

Unboxing:
Unboxing is a really fun way for you to show your followers how great your designs look on TeePublic products. Send yourself 3 of your designs on 3 different products. When the package arrives you open the package(s) for your followers so they can share in the excitement of the surprise. You can do this by taking several pictures (the closed box, the open box, and each individual item) or by doing a video of yourself opening the package and unwrapping the items inside. Then post the video on your social account with the highest following and include a link to your storefront in the description.
